Task Management
Tasks in Deskmantle keep your team organized and accountable. Every task can be linked to a client, deal, or project. Desk helps by auto-generating tasks from calls, emails, and meetings.
Creating Tasks
There are multiple ways to create tasks:
- Manual — click Tasks in the sidebar, then + New Task.
- From a client record — click the Tasks tab on any client and add a task linked to them.
- From a deal — add tasks specific to a deal (e.g., "Send revised proposal").
- By voice — tell Desk "Create a task to follow up with Sarah on Friday."
- From email — hover over any email and click "Create Task." The email is linked to the task.
- Auto-generated — after calls, Desk can auto-create tasks from action items mentioned in the conversation.

AI Categorization
When you create a task with a natural-language title, Desk automatically suggests a priority, due date, and tags based on the content. For example, "Urgent: fix broken checkout page" would be auto-tagged as High priority with a suggested due date of today.
Pro tip: Enable Daily task digest in notifications to receive a morning email listing your tasks for the day, sorted by priority.
