Creating and Sending Proposals

Build professional proposals with templates, pricing tables, and e-signature.

Proposals

Deskmantle's proposal builder helps you create professional, branded proposals that impress clients and close deals faster. Proposals support pricing tables, rich media, e-signatures, and real-time analytics.

Creating a Proposal

  1. Navigate to a deal and click the Proposals tab, then + New Proposal.
  2. Choose a template or start from scratch. Templates include layouts for consulting, SaaS, agency work, and more.
  3. Fill in the proposal sections:
    • Cover page — client name, project title, your logo, and date.
    • Executive summary — a brief overview of the project scope and objectives.
    • Scope of work — detailed description of deliverables, timeline, and milestones.
    • Pricing table — line items with quantities, unit prices, and totals. Supports one-time, recurring, and optional items.
    • Terms and conditions — payment terms, cancellation policy, and legal clauses.
    • Signature block — space for both parties to sign electronically.
  4. Click Preview to see the proposal as the client will see it.
  5. Click Send to email the proposal or copy the link to share directly.

AI-Assisted Proposals

Ask Desk to help write your proposal:

  • "Draft a proposal for a website redesign project for Acme Corp, budget $15,000."
  • Desk uses your past proposals, the client's history, and the deal context to generate a complete draft.
  • Review, edit, and send.
Pro tip: Enable proposal analytics to see exactly when the client opens your proposal, how long they spend on each section, and whether they revisit the pricing page — then follow up at the right moment.

E-Signatures

Proposals include built-in e-signature capability. When the client clicks "Accept and Sign," they draw or type their signature, and a legally binding PDF is generated and emailed to both parties.
