Use Desk to analyze documents, generate reports, and surface business insights.

Desk Intelligence

Desk Intelligence is the analytical brain behind Deskmantle. It continuously monitors your data — emails, deals, financials, client interactions — and surfaces actionable insights without you asking. You can also ask Desk direct questions about your business data at any time.

Automatic Insights

Desk generates insights automatically and surfaces them in several places:

  • Daily Brief — every morning, Desk compiles a summary of what happened yesterday, what is due today, and what needs attention. It highlights at-risk deals, overdue tasks, and revenue trends.
  • Client health alerts — if a client has not been contacted in a while, or if engagement metrics drop, Desk flags it with a yellow or red indicator.
  • Deal risk analysis — Desk evaluates each active deal and assigns a probability score based on stage duration, communication frequency, and historical patterns.
  • Revenue forecasting — based on your pipeline data, Desk projects expected revenue for the current month and quarter.

Document Analysis

Upload any document and ask Desk questions about it.

  1. Open the Desk chat panel and click the paperclip icon.
  2. Upload a PDF, Word document, Excel spreadsheet, or image.
  3. Ask a question about the document. Examples:
    • "Summarize this contract in three bullet points."
    • "What are the payment terms?"
    • "Find all line items over $10,000 in this spreadsheet."
    • "Does this NDA have a non-compete clause?"
  4. Desk processes the document and responds with citations showing exactly which sections it referenced.
Pro tip: You can upload multiple documents at once and ask Desk to compare them — for example, "Compare the pricing in these two vendor proposals."

Custom Reports

Ask Desk to generate custom reports on the fly:

  • "Show me all deals closed in April with value over $5,000."
  • "What is our average deal cycle time this quarter?"
  • "List all clients who have not responded to an email in 14 days."
  • "Generate a revenue breakdown by industry."

Reports can be exported as CSV or PDF from the chat panel.
